Hello dear readers!
Next semester, we are going to be building our capstone projects. This involves designing a device/product that solves a problem in some way or form. In our Ethics in Engineering assignment, we debated over both the actions led by the CEO in Monsters, Inc. (business ethics), and also the actions leading up to certain engineering disasters (ours being the surfside tower collapse). Thus, when we start building our capstone projects next semester, we can be more considerate and careful of every choice we make, so that our products don't fail on our consumers. It's ethical to have a product that works, and a product that's not deceiving to the public. Basically, we need to be reliable engineers.

In other news, I'm going to go to a karate tournament next Saturday (October 1st). I'm a bit petrified, as I haven't entered one in 8 years (honestly I should probably be practicing as I type this...) I think it will be really fun though, and I'm going to try my best despite the many watching eyes. The form I'll be presenting is kata 6, a brown belt form. I really, really, really hope I don't mess up and can maintain a calm demeanor throughout. But yeah I'm sure it'll be great!
